Join the Middle Colorado Watershed and our stakeholders for a morning bike ride through Glenwood Canyon. Learn about our water, the watershed ecosystem, and more while enjoying the beauty of our River.
We will meet at Summit Canyon Mountaineering at 9:30am and catch the shuttle to Bair Ranch. The shuttle will carry our bikes as well.
Glenwood Canyon Bike Trail is a protected bike path. It is 16.3 miles long and travels the bank of the Colorado River through Glenwood Canyon, with rest areas along the way.
We will stop at designated areas to talk about the river's history, current management of the water, and ecological wins and challenges.
We will have a little celebratory ending at Glenwood Brew Garden - happy hour for the MCWC participants!
Light snacks will be provided on the bike ride.
Please provide your own bicycle, helment and water bottle. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 16th!
If you need to rent a bicycle, we will be able to get that set up through Glenwood Adventure Company. Thanks to them for making this happen!
