The Middle Colorado Watershed Council is hosting the 2019 Wild & Scenic Film Festival, with a showing at the Vaudeville in Glenwood on Thursday, February 21st and a showing at the Ute in Rifle on Saturday, February 23rd. The curated collection of short films feature intentional living, action, and adventure at their finest, with a focus on resource awareness and appreciation, delicately living through our wild places and making balanced changes for the sake of our livelihoods and our environment.

The MCWC uses this event as their premier benefit for the year. A full menu and bar is available at the Vaudeville Revue, the bar is open at the Ute, and both evenings are capped with great door prizes raffled off from local and regional businesses. The 2019 Wild & Scenic trailer can be viewed here, and tickets can be purchased here. For both evenings, doors open at 6pm, and the film program begins at 7pm. Tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the door. Historically, it’s a sellout.

The Middle Colorado Watershed Council’s mission is to evaluate, protect, and enhance the health of the middle Colorado River watershed, from Glenwood Springs to De Beque, through the cooperative effort of watershed stakeholders. They could not do their work without their local and regional sponsors, such as Karp Neu Hanlon, Alpine Bank, and Grand River Construction.
