MCWC kicks off the Fire & Water Speaker Series with hydrologist and author Robert “Bob” Crifasi, whose award-winning book Western Water A–Z blends science, history and storytelling to explore how water has shaped Colorado’s landscapes, communities and future. Through archival and contemporary photographs, Bob traces the evolution of Western rivers and water systems—and how early decisions continue to influence the West today.

Known for making complex water issues accessible, Bob skips jargon in favor of clear, engaging stories that leave audiences informed (and wide awake). The evening includes a presentation, audience Q&A and book signing at the historic Hotel Colorado. Beverages and hearty appetizers will be served.
