Join fellow community volunteers at Centennial Park (W. 5th Street, Rifle) for a morning of environmental stewardship along Rifle Creek. Activities include mulching, willow planting with the Middle Colorado Watershed Council and clean-up along the creek. There will also be opportunities to learn about stream flow, fishing and other outdoor programs.
Schedule:
8:00 a.m. – Registration and site assignments
8:30 a.m. – Site work begins
11:30 a.m. – Free prize drawings at Centennial Park
Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, rakes and brooms if they have them. There will be limited tools onsite.
